Hello, I’m Nejla, one of the newest volunteers at TEV UK.
I’m writing to you from London, where February is slowly giving way to longer days and the first hints of spring. That quiet sense of renewal feels especially fitting as I begin this new chapter with TEV UK and as we share what we’ve been working towards together.
Going forward, each month, a different member of our growing volunteer and student community will take the pen to write to you, sharing our journey, what we are learning along the way, and how you can continue to be part of and engage with TEV UK.
In this month’s newsletter, we’re excited to look back on what made 2025 such a proud year for us, share our vision for 2026, and introduce our new initiatives that we can’t wait to begin.

A regular monthly contribution can change the lives of bright students in the UK or Turkey:
* £10 / month — Could cover educational essentials (e.g., books, stationery)
* £25 / month — Could contribute towards meals and basic living costs
* £50 / month — Could fund an undergraduate’s commute or support a high-school scholarship
* £100 / month — Could support an undergraduate’s monthly scholarship
* £250 / month — Could support a graduate scholarship or provide merit-based support for a high-achieving undergraduate
With a monthly contribution starting from just the equivalent of only two coffees, you could support a student who could become a leading scientist, entrepreneur, or changemaker.

🎊 TEV Thursdays: Let’s Come Together
This year, we’re also excited to strengthen our community in person. Starting in April, we’re planning to launch “TEV Thursdays”, informal monthly gatherings on the first Thursday of each month, at a central London location.
